Reader Version

In this episode, Bruce dives into chapter 103 of Kagurabachi, continuing the intense battle scenes from the previous chapter. The fight involves a two on one scenario where the characters are clashing fiercely, showcasing impressive sword techniques and supernatural abilities. Bruce highlights the use of teleportation through feathers, a unique power that allows one fighter to move swiftly around the battlefield, adding a dynamic element to the combat. The chapter reveals that Yura, one of the combatants, is not directly contracted to the blade he commands but instead channels its powers indirectly.

This distinction plays a crucial role in the unfolding battle, as the opposing fighters aim to end the conflict by targeting Yura. The enchanted blade, Magusumi, is described as having vitality stealing properties, which enhances the wielder’s abilities and even seems to grant automatic healing, making the fight even more intense and strategic. Bruce notes the escalating tension as the fighters use various techniques, including immobilization powers and powerful attacks like "Dragonfly," which causes significant destruction and forces rapid evacuations of civilians. The battle’s scale is emphasized by the collateral damage and the urgency to conclude the fight quickly to prevent further casualties.

The use of healing flames, which can affect not only injuries but also objects, adds another layer of complexity to the combat. Towards the end of the chapter, a pivotal moment occurs when one fighter sacrifices himself in a high stakes strike that ultimately misses its target’s vital organs. This leads to a wager being lost, setting the stage for a coordinated plan to defeat Yura by severing his connection to the Shunichi powers. Bruce appreciates the strategic approach taken by the duo, finding it a satisfying development that doesn’t drag the fight unnecessarily.

Overall, Bruce expresses contentment with how the chapter concludes, feeling that the fight has reached a natural pause and that the story is ready to progress. He anticipates that future chapters might either extend this battle or shift focus to new conflicts, keeping the narrative engaging. Bruce encourages listeners to share their thoughts and support the podcast as it approaches its follower goal, signaling enthusiasm for continuing coverage of Kagurabachi and other anime and manga content.

Please, please, please, please, please click that follow button and let's get into this. Alright, cool. So the last chapter, they were fighting, right? So the last chapter, they were fighting, right? They were boxing. You can see this, they're clashing. Okay, this is a two against one type of scenario. And yeah, man, let's just keep pushing forward. Hopefully it doesn't end too badly.

This ends here, you say? Today, it finally begins. Kuro, Dragonfly. Oof, what happened? I'm still trying to get my head around the spacing, but I knew he sent him flying. How? Did he teleport behind him to catch him? Oh, the feathers. You see, when he's got feathers, he can teleport himself around where the feathers land. I don't know why he keeps the feathers around, but hey, it comes handy in this moment. Yura isn't contracted to the blade. He's only commanding the powers of the Shunichi indirectly. If I kill him, at least it resolves this battle. The Shunichi and Swordmaster are another matter. Okay, and he runs back to him to clash again. Xing, he's strong.

Oof, he's trying to come from behind to cut his head off. Damn, he ducked it. Look how close he was. He ducked it. He tried to hit him back. He's always had great reflexes, but this is something else entirely. It's as if my wounds heal automatically. The Magusumi enchanted blade affects vitality. Stealing it from others, giving it to its master, its powers elevates all activities associated with vitality. So this hair is them going back and forth, like they're crashing through buildings, I guess. You can see it right here. Okay, they both use a technique. They're both using a technique, about to use a technique on him. You can see them both coming towards him whilst he's got his sword behind him.

He doesn't seem to be in agony like Kyorou was, and he's using powers not seen then. He's getting closer and closer. Apparently you can't unsheathe it, but to what extent can he use its powers? Even with Shiba evacuating people as fast as possible, it's only a matter of time before they are casualties. Let's wrap this up quickly. Spider. Spider? That's his immobilization power. Damn, that's a big wide range. Of immobilization, but both opponents cloaked in the flames of mercy. The effect is nullified in less than a second. Plenty of time. Dragonfly. Damn. So, smash, right? Crash, crash, smash. He landed so far away from the initial bout. It's kind of scary how he's even survived this. I'm not going to lie.

This one move, Dragonfly, is so powerful. Luckily for Chihiro, he caught him, but unlucky for him. He didn't get caught by anybody. Dragonfly. He's vexed. Damn, he keeps using Dragonfly on him. Oh, civilians this time. I emptied out that cart. Hurry up and finish him. What? Tobimune's power. The flames of universal mercy are originally intended to heal its master. But with Samura's true realm, he's able to apply them even to objects. Damn, look at this whole crow thing. An entire train car? Impossible. Crow. Damn. You sacrificed your own flesh and staked everything on that strike with enough force to penetrate my centipede. But you missed my internal organs. You lost your wager. The wager comes next. Mr.

Samura, your firepower. Me too. Suzaku's power is healing, not just injuries. It targets all irregularities in the body. Yura is wielding powers that are not his own. If the external powers he is channeling amount to a physical abnormality, it's working. They'll burn him up. Let's go and sever Yura and the Shunichi. So they found a way to kill him. Which is kind of cool. I like the two man plan on that. And they didn't even seem that crazy. They just had to take a wager and get close to him and pierce him. So really only took two chapters. Once they were introduced from the duo to this. I'm not really disappointed. I don't feel like the fight could have gone any further until the next chapter.

We will know for sure. But I'm not mad at the way this ended at all. Not at all. They've been fighting for a while. They've been invaded for a while. So I mean, I think it's time for us to move on to the next chapter or to the next couple of chapters where things have started to progress within the storyline. I'm not saying this isn't progression. I'm just saying, you know, maybe in the next chapter, something else may happen to prolong this exact fight. Or maybe something else might happen to prolong the story towards another fight. Do you know what I'm saying? This was Kagura Bachi chapter 103. I enjoyed this chapter. Really cool. Let me know what you guys thought about this. The goal is 250 followers.
