Basics. Alright, what's going on guys? It's your boy Roos. Welcome back again to another episode on the podcast. We are continuing from yesterday's episode on the podcast, which was Ultimate Kiyoshi, chapter 39. And this is chapter 40, titled Leave It To Me. So if you're new here, don't forget to follow the podcast. If you're old here, you know what it is. Love you. And yeah man, just let's keep up with the continuous consistency, you know. So the clash has gone on. This is the Paladin versus the first Demon guy.
You did good. From here on out, this is a job for a cross Paladin. Look at everyone all slumped out. I'm very happy for the cross Paladin to come and save him. Mr. Hijiri. You did well in joining against the first Demon Lord without anyone dying. Karuta, good work. I didn't expect you to get so roughed up. You're shocked? That guy's intense. If it weren't for Mako, I'd be dead. Well done, Mako. Mr. Hijiri, I was no use at all. That's not true. You're rather relaxed to chat away like this in front of an enemy. I'll, whilst he's sitting down, you know, he blocked it. Take it from here. Oh, no blind spots, huh? Balmung. Boom. I'll finish things here, Karuta.
Once you've recovered, you and Wenchstar to return to the front lines. So demanding. I'll be right back. Mr. Hijiri, you win, okay? Of course. Damn. He flew off to catch up to him. He's quick. Very quick. So you're taking our fight somewhere deserted to avoid collateral damage? That's part of it, of course. But the fact of the matter is, I didn't want them to see me losing my temper. After what you did to my squad and my friends, I hope you are ready for what you've got coming. This is a modern cross paladin, eh? Excellent. Of all the exorcists I've ever killed, you're the only one who has satisfied me. Allow me to show you true absurdity. Everything is melting? It looks like everything is melting.
Think of July 31st. Why? Last call for your taxes. Oh no, I don't even know where I should start. Why taxes? It's like tax returns, just without the stress. Is that easy? Sure, it's almost automatic. Does it take long? No, just by app. Well then. The third Demon Lord, Grossi Sata. Sata? Isn't Sata that demon we exorcised at the inauguration ceremony? Yeah. I'm pretty sure this is his younger brother. He must be here for revenge. Revenge? You think I'd come for something so petty? It's for a totally different reason. Yeah. That's not really convincing. Of course my foolish older brother was exorcised. It was bound to happen. I mean he did give me spending money and was nice to me and stuff. But... Anyhow.
Don't get foolish with yourself. Just because you managed to beat someone as pathetic as him. It's sad. I was totally right. Also, should you two be so relaxed about all this? After all, if you don't exercise me soon, all the humans I came across on the way here will freeze to death. What? If you don't come to me, then I'll come to... Damn. Look at Ton. Hey. Shouldn't you be more careful about getting too close? What? He froze him. Are you done? Oh, he shot an ice pick at him basically. The air around me is nearly minus 350 Fahrenheit. It's an unrelenting cold. You should be careful. Not that telling you matters. Even if you know about it, there's nothing you can do.
Just like you'd expect from a high ranking demon lord. This won't be easy. Hisugi? According to Matagi's communications, only three high ranking demon lords are left. Mr Sakaki is fighting the second demon lord, Mukurojima, right now. Jōgasaki and Mako rush to confront the first demon lord, Tonjinji. And I'm a bit worried how communication from Matagi have stopped. But if Mr Hijiri is there, it should be fine. And here, we've got the third demon lord. He'd be a lot for me alone. But with Harai here, we can exorcise him. If we win here, then the situation will shift in our favour. Who's this? I can smell you nearby. So where are you, Yoshi Harai? The great demon lord, Asuta Roth. Everyone sensed him.
Yeah, well, the paladin sensed him. Is that... He finally materialised. Are you worried about Lord Roth? Well, if you want to fight him, you have to get through me. And if you can't manage that, then you're not worthy of going up against him in the first place. His timing sucks. Kurogane will probably be the one to go after him. But even a cross paladin won't be able to handle a demon like him alone. Kurogane needs... him. Tamara alone enough to beat... the third demon lord? Wait, why am I asking that? Harai, go. Leave this guy to me. It's Sugi. What? You doubt me? No, but... Go, Harai. Trust me. Okay. What are you thinking? I know you can sense the difference in our strength. The difference in our strength?
Let's save that kind of talk. I've got no choice here. I'll just have to go beyond my limits. Or after we see who wins this fight. Okay. Alright. Cool chapter. Amazing chapter. Everything is getting real peak. Obviously, I still don't understand the full understanding under or standment slash knowledge of the whole series. Which is why I think I might have to read the beginning chapters again once more by myself. And yeah, obviously, it's just about exercising demons and so on and so forth. You can kind of get the gist from the chapters. But so far, so good. The chapter's been good. It's not been a boring chapter. And I've actually been happy about this series and picking it up, to be fair. So yeah.
