Basics. Alright, what's going on guys? It's your boy, Roose. Welcome back again to another episode on our podcast. I am not as excited as everybody because I'm just not. I'm glad Spider Man's out, but it was never really a thing where I was waiting for a new Spider Man to come out. I'm just happy that something related to Marvel's out, do you know what I mean? Either way, let's go ahead and watch this trailer because it's the hype of all anime slash Marvel slash comic slash movies. And yeah, let's see what actually happens. I know it's a carry on from the last movie, but yeah, I'll just explain the rest in detail after the trailer. I can't believe our first day at MIT!
MJ, come on, pretend like you're not the happiest you've ever been in your entire life. I can't. I knew it! Hi, my name is Peter Parker. You don't remember me, but we used to know each other. Something bad was going to happen, and the only way to stop it was to make everyone forget about me. Because I'm not just Peter Parker. I'm Spider Man. What the hell, Frank? You just hit me with a van! Put your whip in. Suit yourself. Motherf***er. Go home! And sometimes Spider Man has to do the hard thing, even if it breaks Peter Parker's heart. What is happening to me? Oh, God! Excuse me, Dr. Banner. I need your help. What did you say your name was? If DNA is mutating, it would be enormously dangerous.
Spiders have three life cycles. When between cycles, it can leave the spider vulnerable to threats. We are faced with a danger that we can't control. One we can't even see. Stay out of my way. You're losing it, kid. And for those spiders who make it through, it amounts to a kind of... Rebirth. Nice flowers. Oh, they're a housewarming gift. I'm MJ. I'm just a neighbor from across the hall. Friendly neighbor. The 31st of July. Not far away at all. So I can understand why the hype of this is going crazy. But we're going to dissect this quickly so that you guys know what is possibly going to happen. Now, there's a key sentence that Dr. Banner said. And if you know Dr. Banner, you also know that he is also Hulk.
Right? Obviously, for some reason, people do not know that Dr. Banner is Hulk for some reason. But we know that he is Hulk because we read the comics. Then he says something to do with mutation. And then, if you had noticed here, right? I could probably show a better stoppage on the screen. There's no web shooters. Remember, Peter uses this Peter and the other Peter in terms of the Spider Man. Besides Tobey Maguire's Peter, they all use web shooters. But he doesn't use a web shooter in this one. Which shows a form of, I guess, evolution slash mutation. And then, even here, this clip here where he wakes up in a cocoon, right? In his webbing, where he falls. You can see he's not in his normal Spider Man suit.
And instinctively, he tries to push out a web. But he doesn't have his web shooters, which is why he screamed, Oh God, he's going to fall down. And you hear that repetitive spider web noise that just comes out of every Spider Man's wrist. Boom. And then he catches himself. Now, within a scanner, it says here, Enhanced Human Detected. Now, we know in this world, I can't remember the exact word that they call it. But even in the Flashverse and all these other sort of like comic Marvel series, they call them a word that I can't remember, but that humans are special in it. But this is an enhanced human, right? And this is Peter Parker's enhanced abilities being scanned. So he has superior strength. Excuse me.
Excuse me. He has superior strength. He has superior agility. He has heightened senses. And he has enhanced perception, which obviously it just goes to show that, you know, he's getting better. I say that he's getting better because Dr. Banner also mentioned that there's three cycles within a spider's life cycle. And this goes from every spider that has ever existed on planet Earth. The first stage is basically the egg phase where it's, you know, just being born. Then the next phase is a spiderling, which is just a baby spider. Then the next is an adult.
The problem is within this particular Spider Man in terms of this movie and what we know, we don't really know if it's going to change him into either a good person or bad person or something related to the comics. I think personally, even here. Remember, this first happens when you first got bitten by the spider. So I don't want to say he's coming up from an egg, but he does come up from an egg in terms of the cocoon. But from here, from when he gets bitten and he wakes up the first time ever when he first got bitten, I think he's basically a spiderling. And when he comes out the cocoon. I think he's basically become an adult. Do you get what I'm saying in terms of the three stages of the spider?
But here, this doesn't seem like there's any bad effects because who wouldn't have not come up from this cocoon? And then now you've got organic webs. And on top of that, even when he's going through his scan. You can see he's, wait, okay, so this is clearly before he came out of the cocoon because he has his web shooters here. Unless I'm mistaking this as the thing behind him. No, it's definitely his web shooters. So obviously they must have cut this into a way where it's just like, it's a bit forward in the movie, a bit back in the movie, so on and so forth.
They're just showing us that how perceptive his senses are going, how heightened his senses are going, the fact that he can hear a drop of water and his senses are going crazy. It's showing how much of a pain it's becoming. So it could go towards a good sign that is either becoming good in terms of mutation or it could be bad. Like I was saying earlier, I didn't mention it fully, but in the comics, he ends up growing extra arms and then turning into a spider. And that happens over time. Obviously he gets help and he gets injected and it turns him back into a human bot.
They never showed nothing about him growing no arms or anything, but towards the end, they did show us him fighting a group of people and his eyes over here. His eyes turn black. So I don't know if this could be a sign where he's turning into something more where his strength is just becoming so strong in terms of the levels or he's just becoming, I don't know, more bad. But I don't want to make too much assumptions. The point is anyways, this was a cool trailer. And over here, it doesn't look like he's doing anything crazy. He's just breaking the sword, innit? So it looks like he might be defending someone in the prison or he's trying to get away.
But, you know, besides what we've seen from this trailer, I can't estimate on anything really and truly. They've cut up so many parts in this, moved it forward, moved it back, shown different things. But the only thing we can get from this is that it's an evolution about him. It's a story about him and how he has to deal with being Spider Man, whilst his girlfriend slash ex girlfriend doesn't know anything about him and his best friend Ned also doesn't know nothing about him too. But he has to deal with the consequences of what being Spider Man is and the effects that he caused in the last movie because in the last movie he made everyone forget who he was because it led to bad things, you know?
At this point of Peter's lifespan in terms of being Spider Man, he's growing into him, into the character... is it character? Into who Spider Man is and who he has to be in terms of being Spider Man. And he can't necessarily correlate his life with Peter Parker as Spider Man. He kind of has to choose one or the other. So yeah, it's kind of cool but we'll see what happens in the movie.
