Could this be the beginning of an evil Spider Man arc, or even the shocking transformation into a full on spider creature? We dive into the clues, the darker tone, the possible Man Spider connection, and what this could mean for Peter, MJ, the Hulk, Punisher, and the future of the MCU. Reader Version

In this episode, the host Ruse breaks down the newly released trailer for the upcoming Spider Man: Brand New Day movie, expressing excitement for its release on July 31st. He highlights the trailer’s darker tone and the intriguing possibility that Peter Parker’s powers are evolving beyond their usual limits. Notably, Peter appears to be producing webbing naturally, without the need for artificial web shooters, suggesting a mutation that makes him more spider like in a biological sense. Ruse sees this as a sign that this version of Spider Man could be the strongest yet, evolving closer to the natural abilities of a spider.

Ruse points out that the trailer hints at Peter losing control over his powers, with moments where his eyes turn black and his behavior becomes aggressive, such as when he confronts the villain Scorpion. This raises questions about whether Peter might be on the verge of a darker transformation, possibly even into a creature resembling the Man Spider from the comics. The host speculates that this shift could be a central theme of the movie, exploring the challenges Peter faces as his mutation progresses and affects his relationships. The trailer also introduces other characters, including MJ and Ned, who seem to be estranged from Peter, adding emotional complexity to the story.

Ruse notes that Spider Man is uniquely immune to a mysterious threat that no one else can sense, likely tied to his spider senses, which may have a supernatural origin connected to a “god spider” as referenced in the comics. This immunity sets Peter apart and could be key to the plot. Another significant element is the appearance of Bruce Banner and the Hulk. The trailer shows Banner struggling with his transformation, and Ruse mentions that Hulk might remember Peter despite others forgetting him, referencing the aftermath of the events in Doctor Strange. The relationship between Hulk and Spider Man remains unclear, but the host hopes Hulk will be an ally rather than an adversary.

Ruse also comments on the presence of ninjas attacking Peter, who is seen in a prison cell without his mask, indicating that his identity is known to his enemies. The exact motivations and connections of these ninjas remain a mystery, but they seem to be central antagonists in the film. This adds an element of intrigue and danger to the storyline. Overall, Ruse views the movie as a portrayal of Peter Parker’s transition from relying on technology to becoming a more natural and powerful Spider Man.

He appreciates the nods to previous Spider Man iterations, such as the need to stretch due to physical strain, and looks forward to seeing how the film balances action, character development, and the darker themes suggested by the trailer. He invites listeners to share their thoughts and whether they plan to watch the movie in theaters.

Basic. Alright, what's going on guys, it's your boy Ruse. Welcome back again to another episode on the podcast. If you're new here, don't forget to follow the podcast, okay? Leave a comment and let me know what you guys think about this specific video on the podcast. We're watching Spider Man Brand New Day and this movie comes out this month. We're all excited for Spider Man. There's been a lot of talking about this movie specifically and I just can't wait to watch it, okay? So I'm going to give my thoughts on it after we finish watching the trailer. Let's get into this. Start from the beginning on this. What is happening to me? Did you miss me, Spidey? I'm losing my mind. I am totally out of control.

I got to fix whatever this is right now. Final semester at my team. Dad, who do you think is actually watching this? Maybe someone. Okay, well, bye someone. What the? Dr. Banner, you found a way to suppress mutating DNA, right? If you see me with this up, run. So could you get rid of the bad aspects but keep the good? How would you decide what parts of nature are good or bad? Sorry about that. You're not one of my students, are you? It appears we're faced with a threat we can't control. One we can't even see. You're the only one who's immune to it. You're the only one who can sense it. What do you think they're looking for? Oh, see you stumbled across my board. I'm not one of those weirdos, I swear.

He's a little weird. I'm MJ. You two don't know each other? Yo, Spider Man, you okay? Did you get rid of that monster inside you? I think I might go see how MJ's doing. You're not going to get away with this. But he might. I didn't know you could get that big. I'm sorry, but you're in danger. You just have to trust me. Fine. This whole thing can get really scary. Who the hell is that? Who the hell are you? Frank, please. I don't have anywhere else to go. By the people who love you, you're just going to let them go? I love you because you're you. If you're going to do something, you better do it now. Never forget that. No matter how powerful you become. I miss you, mate. Huh. Alright, just give me a sec.

Give me a sec. I'm not in high school anymore. Did you stretch? Are you a big stretcher? It's so good for you. You ready? July 31st. In premium format, exclusively in movie theaters. Now, I don't know what that means specifically, but I do believe it's out in theaters on July 31st. I'm excited to watch this. There's a couple of things I noticed that they are playing on in terms of this Spider Man, Tom Holland Spider Man anyways, is that now, right, he's got his non artificial web shooters or web shooters now. I don't know exactly what scene it was in. I think it was probably a bit back around here. Yep, yep, yep. Around here now, you can see that he can just squeeze it out of himself now.

It's naturally producing. Do you get what I'm saying? And, you know, he's getting to this point of a Spider Man where it's like he's becoming much more of a spider now. He doesn't need these artificial weapons anymore, devices to help him become a spider. He's genes or mutating and it's making him much more of just like the Tobey Maguire Spider Man. And in my personal opinion, I believe this is the strongest version, the stronger version of this version. And if he, in terms of the Spider Man, becomes stronger, becomes much more spiderweb producing, like much more natural in terms of what a spider is in its natural habitat, in terms of its everything, right, senses and everything.

I feel as though every other spider in every other universe have that eventual change in their development. It might not be all universes, but you have to also remember that in terms of all universes, every other person slash spider slash anyone is similar to the main one of the world, of the Earth slash universe. So this is going to be very cool. We're going to see the challenges in his personal life of him not being friends anymore with his best friend, Ned, and his girl, MJ. And we're just going to see the dynamics and the situations of how they are going to intertwine within the movie, why they're now becoming an important factor within Peter's life.

As you can see, as you can tell in the trailer, Spider Man is basically the only person that can sense this thing. Do you know what I mean? He's the only one who can sense this thing when it's around. For some reason, no one else can sense it and he's the only one that's immune to it. So I think that's mainly because of his spider senses. We also know that the spider sense can be seen as something that's been given to him from a higher power. If you read the comics, you know that he gets his ultimate power from a god spider. So maybe that in and of itself is the reason why he is so powerful in terms of being Spider Man in general. And that goes for all other Spider Man verses in the whole universe.

In this part as well, you see the device is broken off or Hulk or Bruce Banner and he becomes the Hulk. We don't know the relationship between the two necessarily as to if Hulk is even friends with Peter in this. But I've heard specifically that Hulk remembers Spider Man. And do you remember when he was with Doctor Strange and I'm talking about Peter Parker and he wished for everyone to forget him, which is why Ned doesn't know him and MJ don't know him. Hulk is the only one that remembers him. Now Hulk has this thing where he's always angry. He's always pissed off. So I think initially when he transforms and then he chased down Peter. Do you know what I mean?

And they have this sort of altercation where Hulk himself is falling from a building. I think it's just one of those things where Hulk is just basically like he hasn't been Hulk for the longest of time. Just remember that Hulk watches Banner's life through the back of his eyes. So when he transformed, it was probably just much more of like, all right, all the information is rushing to Hulk's brain where he's not being instinctive anymore after this altercation. Do you know what I mean? So I'm hoping that Hulk helps out within the series of the series, within the movie, and is actually friendly towards Peter because Peter Parker doesn't do anything bad to Hulk, if that makes sense.

And yeah, this whole thing was really good. I don't know who these guys are. Obviously, they're ninjas, but we don't know what's the plot and the reason for why they're attacking Peter. Peter's in a prison cell. I don't know why he's in there. Possibly, obviously, he's there to release someone or maybe gain information or something. But at the same time, his mask. You know what I mean? His mask is off him. So they clearly know who Peter is. And possibly the enemy who the movie is based upon in terms of the antagonist, it has something to do with the ninjas. So I don't know. Peter's eyes are black hair. Clearly, it's around the point where it's like he doesn't really have full on control yet of his strength.

Or maybe he's just finally understanding his strength and his control. Because in the beginning, right, when his eyes went black the first time, look what he did to Scorpion. That's aggressive. That's extremely aggressive. Really aggressive. So I don't know what this series, sorry I keep saying series, what this movie intends to portray. But from my point of view, I really do think it's going to portray Peter's transitioning from being a normal Peter Parker Spider Man in terms of using devices into becoming a much more natural, habitable Spider Man where he's lactating it, he's producing the spider webs from his body, he's much more stronger and he's much more nimble. He said at the end that he needs to stretch.

I guess that's just due to old age. Tobey Maguire's one had to stretch because he hurt his back from falling whilst he was spider webbing. So this must either be a play on the Tobey Maguire movies where he has to stretch because he's got a bad back or he's just being silly and he actually has to stretch because he's normal in high school like he said. It's been your boy Ruse with Mr36, whether you're watching or listening to this in the morning or afternoon or evening, make sure to follow the goddamn podcast okay. Let me know what you guys think about the Spider Man trailer if you guys are going to watch it in the cinema or not. I'm very interested in hearing your opinion. I'm out. Peace.
