Basics. What's going on guys, it's your boy Roos. Welcome back again to another episode on the podcast. Today we're reading Dandadan chapter 134. Okay? We're getting Zuma back. Out of the way. Hand over the old man. Sir, tell me what happened.
Maybe we can help. I will never go back in there. I get that. You don't have to go back in the Diorama. I promise. When I was in the fourth grade, it was given to me as a present. My dad bought it for me for my birthday. Yee! Thank you, dad. What a lovely box. What is it? An acquaintance was selling it cheap in their antique shop. It's apparently pretty old, though. It's really intricate and finely made. I guess it was love at first sight. I really felt like something about it was calling to me. I assume it was the child who was playing with it. ... ... Dragons and everything. It just seems like a magical world in and of itself. Looks really, really, really, really nice.
So as soon as he touched it, he got dragged into it. But could I have not been dragged into it as a kid without his helmet here? So he must have been dragged into it another time. And he's been there ever since. For real. How old are you? I don't know. It's been a long time anyway. Forever, it seems. I was in there this whole time. It's full of monsters. I was always on the run, hiding. But I had lots of sweets, so somehow I survived. Damn, he had sweets. He was hella nutrition deprived. But in the end, when I couldn't take it anymore and I decided to end my life, a human appeared in front of me. I was so happy to see a person after so long that I grabbed the girl's hands.
And that's when I appeared back in the real world. I was overjoyed. I tried to go straight home, but I had no idea where I was and didn't know how to get back. So, until I could figure stuff out, Zuma let me stay in his house. Zuma? Hang on. Zuma's in there right now, right? So what happened to the girl? That's the girl I swapped places with. She's out now. First I went into Diorama, and then the old man came out. After that, Zuma went in. Zuma. And I came out. Mmm. All of us are deeply indebted to Zuma. Seems like there's a trade off, I think. All the kids here have some kind of sad backstory, like not being able to go to school or having a shitty home life.
But when we come here, we can enjoy our time together. But even this place has some bad people. They make the girls sell themselves or deal nasty drugs. Zuma protected us from those kinds of people. Zuma went into that Diorama by himself. He wanted to destroy it from the inside. I'm gonna wreck this world and come back out. Just you wait, he said. So that's it. The people at Renjaku High School said the same thing, right? But what about the family jewel? Why did Zuma take it from the police box? Did anyone hear Zuma mention a gold ball? He said he got the gold ball from someone he didn't know. Yikes. He was a stranger. How should I know? According to that person, the Diorama is a magic object.
And if Zuma had the gold ball, he could destroy the Diorama. Yet another weirdo. Definitely suspicious. They're no ordinary person. But it's been a week since Zuma went in. He may be in trouble. Our patience is wearing thin. That old dude was in there in the first place. We'll put him back in and get Zuma out. Get back in there, you. Yeah, no way. I'm never going back. Get real. Whoa, whoa. Hold up. Think about this. There may be some other way. Yeah. He swung the sword. Hey, watch it. Rose bugging out. Relax, dude. Damn. Oh, look. Her hand is about to touch. And then she disappears because of him. She look at that. Miss Ise. And that's Dandadan. Okay, so we get the way it works.
Okay, someone has to touch it and they go inside. And if someone touches it previously, touches the other person who was in there, they get transported out. It just seems like it's a magical tool that, you know, there was no method of getting out until someone entered. So I guess there's a bit of a pity on the guy's end because it took him this long for him to get out. And he's wasted a lot of years. And he's very malnourished due to the amount of years he's been there and only eating sweets. But we get understanding of what's going on right now and where Zuma is, which is the leader of the gang.
